Inland route from Wollongong to Braidwood, avoiding the main freeway.
A nice little ride not too far from the centre of Bunbury taking some back roads
Good road surfaces. good corners. light traffic
This is a wonderful rural ride with a mix of 2/3 great quality dirt and 1/3 sealed road. The road rises to a peak of 800m above sea level so gets cold and passes mostly through State Forest and farming land. A great adventure bike exploration.
Nice rural trip with some gravel sections
Easy morning ride, be on the lookout for cyclists - very popular with them.
Nice sweeping turns and very close to the city.
Fantastic dirt, gravel, views, wilderness.
Not a bad way to kill 4 hours. A lot of beautiful scenery and old townships.
Kellyville to Bathurst then Penrith Return
Byford via Nettleton to Jarrahdale onto Kingsbury. SW highway to Nth Dandalup.Del Park Rd to Nanga.
A very nice rural road with some nice corners and scenery. Be wary of the locals that use it, they know the road and happily tear along at the posted speed limit of 100kmph. I reckon the road should have been designated 80, but this stretch avoided that, 100 is quite quick along this road.
Be wary of school pickup through Bunninong. There are hundreds of distracted mothers picking up kids, hundreds of aggravated tradies trying to get ahead of everyone, and buses everywhere. Once into Buninong the traffic is light.
Be wary of random gravel patches after the midway turnoff to the gorge.
Good open twisty road on Pomona kin kin just off tin can bay rd
Rural roads tight twisty roads around kin kin and cedar pocket. Mary valley rd very open
All tar run, not spectacular ridding, but a nice day out. Plenty of spots in Western Creek for breaky and fuel up. Gunnings has a few options for lunch and fuel. Gundaroo is also good with the Cafe doing Pizza, Store doing a wide variety of normal store burgers, fish etc. And of course the pub does some really nice food. If you want a longer more adventurous ride from Gunning head out to Tarago and back via Bungendore. Fuel and pub in Tarago :-)
Light twists and smooth surfaces. Quick run for a Sunday.
