Wiseman's Ferry to Wollombi and back via Putty Rd
Great road, mixture of rural coastal and mountains with amazing mixture of high and low speed windy sections
Rolling Hills, Cafe's at all the small towns, vineyards, orchards, grazing lands and Forest sections. This route is deliberately off the main roads and all roads are sealed, scenic and not frequented by vehicles. There are no challenging sections at the speed limit. Allow a relaxed day.
Gentle run with fuel for you and your bike, bit of scenery. Even run in reverse as well
A nice day right turn iconic little pub in the middle of nowhere
Nice ride to see the southwest
Rural cruise through farm and scrub scenery fair roads just keep an eye out for cattle trucks.
Leisurely cruise through the Yarra ranges. Stopping of at Reefton ,Marysville and Toolangy for some refreshments.
Probably the best route around Melbourne!
Yallah Hungry Jack's Jamberoo : Kiama Gerringong : Nowra South to Milton
Suits adventure riders - great views and some fantastic photo opportunities
Great 1/2 day ride
There's still some roadworks on the Georgetown end but rapidly improving, but the gem is the Forsayth to Einasleigh road, over the range. Nobody around, but there would be critters around Kangaroo o'clock so be careful then. The pub at Einasleigh is worth a stop for sure, maybe the night if that suits (they are renting rooms again). Check out the gorge while you're there. Any other road back out to a highway is dirt from Einasleigh but with the Kidston solar farm the road is kept in very good condition. Enjoy
lots of very tight twisties, open straights, dips and crests
wonderful mix of tight and windy and high speed windy country road. Wonderful scenery, ranging from mountainous through to coastal. Plenty of locations to stop for a drink or bite to eat
Interesting pillion ride
wonderful windy road with great scenery and close to Hobart
Starting just off the Gt Northern by the bottle shop on Hadrill road, head up into the hills for some magnificent views and some nice big straights. Get some speed up on Lancewood Ave to enjoy the steep sweeping down hill leading to plenty of twisties on Obrien Rd Be aware for the old bill/cameras around that area and the stretch to Toodyay. Once there you can step off and rest your bum grab a brew and treat yourself to a pie from the Bakery. Then off to chittering along Julimar. Ending back on the Gt Northern at the picnic spot in Bullsbrook.Just watch for roos, stupid pigeons and the odd bit if loose gravel. Enjoy.
Flagstaff Hill NORTH to Scarborough Pub (Coffee) WEST along Lawrence Hargrave Drive and follow the Old Princes Hwy back SOUTH to Mt Ousley Road.
Mix of a Bends and Straights. ONeils and Chittering with Toodyay for good measure. A good run from the Northern Suburbs
