Nice mountainous route from HopatcongNJ to Harriman State park and back.
Just a nice little ride to get out and see some nice scenery. The colors in the fall are awesome.
Awesome twisties near Bear Mountain NY
This is a fun little trip to get out and take a day to enjoy time with nature, a few towns to stop and get food, and of course there are ice cream places. Hahaha. I hope you riders can enjoy this little trip. See you out there. Be safe out there.
Start off early morning with a light breakfast in New Hope, PA and proceed on River Rd 611 all the way up alongside Delavare River. Then take a detour up to Lake Wallenpaupack. At the end of the lake do the curvy roundabout via Lackawaxen River and follow it to Rt 97. You will meet Delaware River again and ride alongside it on a narrow Old Mine Rd via Flatbrook park. The trip will end where Old Mine Rd meets Rt 80.
woot
lots of nice corners
straight ride up 94. couple breweries on the way. motorcycle museum in Newburgh is a great destination. scenic.
Nice long route
Two of the best mountain pass roads in Vermont in one ride. 125 is well paved (2017), 100 and 17 not so much. Counter-clockwise gets you a nice view of Champlain from the top of the App Gap (17) and there's a pullout. Dirt available, but this whole route is paved.
this is my typical route...going out to the very end isn't too necessary, the best sections are from start to when passing through river head. great scenery as well, and the best way to experience long island on a sport bike! if you want a speed run, hit county road 51, it is on the map I made but instead of turning into the golf course go straight. Solid 2 mile straight away with little to no law enforcement.
Cafe A La Mode coffee shop
My very first route created.
Excellent little mountain backroad
This 290 mile Lake, Mountain and Forest route starts in Alder Creek and travels from there Northeast on New York State Route 28. This is a lovely ride across the Moose River Plains and offers view of some of the lakes. From Blue Mountain lake we take a right and head south on the local favorite route 30. This roads winds its way nicely south through the hills to another local favorite, the Great Sacandaga Lake. The route can be easily extended to do a complete lap of the lake by turning right. But instead we turn left and follow the lake to its most north-easterly point, before following more turns up to Diamond Point. Travelling North now we twist and turn along the edge of Lake George which looks over the water to Vermont. At Moriah Center we head west again crossing I-87 and continuing over to the lovely route 28N, a twisty and scenic run to long lake where we meet up again with Route 28 and back to the start.
Fantastic up and down hill ride by the lake with good curves.
Very nice riding with lake views across the plains, mixture of good turns.
Great views and lovely curves, love it!
Name of the road says it all. Have fun. Watch for loose gravel in some corners.
