Nice Cirencester to Bourton-on-the-Water ride from Bike magazine. November 2018
gona try this one tomoz
One road with plenty of good corners
Decent ride but watch for cameras
Avoiding M6
fast b roads lots of corners
This ride starts on the relatively easy A5 north, it cuts off at Knockin and passes though the Bala.
The B4397 is spectacular and falls into Balla. Stop at the lake side cafe and head south.
This route then cuts into Snowdonia following a single lane pass - if you thought the views where good prior to this just wait.
This pass can be accessed by all bikes but adventure bikes are recommeded as there are a LOT of sheep and a LOT of gravel.
Quiet, sweeping roads from Bala through to Llangollen, followed by fairly fast open corners between Ellesmere and Shrewsbury.
Good circuit with some fast straights & lovely sweeping corners, a couple of good pubs on the way too!
A44, Great Sunday morning run with good Breakfast or Brunch at Crossgates. If you need more twisty action, take in the road to Newtown and head back from there.
mixture of all types of road. dual carriageway, hills, windy and fast. scenery along the way is amazing.
If you start from Admaston then you have to wait until you pass narrow railway bridge. Then you can learn how to overtake at moderate speed. It last till very narrow bridge. This part is 3.2 miles. Then after that is 1.7 miles of very fast road until you meet B5061. The 1.7 is so beautiful because you can at last go fast. The corners are so slight you can't believe it. And then you can turn around and do it again but from other end.
my next planned outing.
Across the moors - nice
National park - great scenery
B Road cross country run with a great brekkie at the end
Mix of roads to the seaside!
Lots of nice sweeping roads with plenty of view ahead and overtaking spots.
Lots of bikers to nod at too!
A fantastic route that warms up on route to Newtown but will blow your mind once onto the A438 all the way down to Carmarthen.
I would avoid the A40 from Carmarthen next time and cut across to the coastal road to Aberystwyth.
An alternative route around Aberystwyth would also be to follow signs for Devils Bridge.
It's a good days ride all round with lots of beautiful scenery, and every mix of road you could wish for!! We will be doing an extended route in due course....
Suits tourers and sports tourers and I did it on a Fireblade so be adventurous ;-)
Walsall to burton.
Into lanes plenty of corners and straights.
From Walsall up to burton.
Some good corners on the lanes.
Easy ride out.
Nice rural route, mixture of some windy narrow buts and some faster wider roads, light traffic.
If you have a few hours to spare loads of places to stop up and rest up.
