This is a big trip. I only did a couple of hundred miles a day, looking at the national parks and such like on the way. I stayed L-V, Springdale, San Juan, Moab, Torrey and Kanab, and took my time exploring the area on amazingly quiet roads. This is a hot ride in the summer and can be cold and even snowy in the winter as you're quite high up. Dress according to the season! Hazard: If you're staying in a town, fill up before you leave in the morning: Gas stations get few and far between. Hazard: Tar snakes are greasy in the summer!
