This is the famous southern water ways trail. It is mainly on back roads and some gravel tracks. It also takes in the culkey moumtain pass
and visits the marble arch caves and the arigna mines The route is best enjoyed on an adventure bike.
The route can be done on road tyres. It is best done in 2 days and take in the sites. Accommodation if needed is plentiful on route but if you like the Guinness and craic with night life its best to stay in Enniskillen or Carrick on Shannon
If you enjoy this route try the nothern glens trail or go to

Worth going the long way rather than the Motorway M7/N8 route, more interesting
Nice route, mixture of tight corners, & fast sweepers, some straits, good surface & some scenery, popular scratching route, so be alert, police presence from time to time. It has everything from mountain routes to coastal views, plenty of fuel stop if you need them
